CommentsI can't at all remember if I commented on anything of yours, but let me just say it right here. I adore your little comics about Alice and ALICE. Every setup is just pure comedy, I adore it. And what I especially like is that the McGee Alice still has a lot of young girl about her, which gives her so muh life and charm. It actually makes sense as to how she can hang around the darling Disney Alice. She's just a nice girl who happens to have brief moments of paranoia and extreme violence. Doesn't mean the girl can't enjoy painting or a tea party. XD
I'm especially very grateful to see them in your syle, actually, because a pair of characters of mine are physically based off of the appearances of the Disney and McGee Alices, and this has been an awful lot of help getting me more comfortable with how to portray them outside of my head. (Not that I probably ever will. Hah.) All in all, lovely lovely lovely. I have to tell you, I've kept this comment up in my Messages ever since receiving it, trying to think of how to reply, because I was a bit stunned (happily so!) I think what it comes down to is: Thank YOU! Thank you for taking the time to write this amazingly sweet comment, and thank you so much for enjoying Alice vs. ALICE. Also glad to hear that the style has helped you in your creative works! I really appreciate this message more than I can say.
*huge fantastical Wonderlandical hugs for you* XD Your enthusiasm is a delight to behold. I'm usually awful with well-thought-out comments, but you really deserve it.
And yes! Looking at these sort of jump-started a new drawing for me. After drawing the Queen of Hearts, I was struggling to thinkg of a way to portray Alice. And then I realised... Alice and ALICE! It's not finished by any means, but I wanted to show you the WIP, since you essentially inspired it. ^^ [link] Oh I love that!
